Next, we’ll pay our respects at the Holocaust Memorial, a poignant tribute to the murdered Jews of Europe. As you walk through this powerful memorial, take a moment to reflect on its significance. In stark contrast, we’ll visit the empty parking lot that marks the site of Hitler’s bunker, a chilling reminder of the past.

Our journey continues along Wilhelmstraße, the former heart of government power. Here, you’ll see the Georg Elser Memorial—a testament to the man who nearly assassinated Hitler, missing his target by just 13 minutes. We’ll then head up Friedrichstraße, once the lively epicenter of the Roaring Twenties, and make our way to the beautiful Gendarmenmarkt. Here, you’ll see the German and French Cathedrals and the historic Concert House. Ever wondered why a "French" Cathedral is here? Let’s find out!

Next, we’ll explore Bebelplatz, home to Humboldt University, St. Hedwig Cathedral, the Royal Library and the stunning State Opera, where Frederick the Great’s legacy still resonates. Finally, we’ll arrive at Museum Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Marvel at the stunning architecture of the Old Museum and the bullet-scarred walls of the Old National Gallery.
